but now i guess ive hit my stupid teen angst face because i feel upset all the time.
there is some stupid things going on in my life and sometimes i feel so upset and so pressured and i have these anxiety attacks and i just sit in my closet shaking and crying.
i cant tell my family because it would upset them and i love them too much to upset them.

i dont want to be this way. sometimes all i want to do is cut myself and smoke weed and obviously thats not the best road to take.

my life is spiraling downward. what can i do? :(

I’m trying to relate this to my life in terms of how to bring about of a chronic and very painful illness which I experience on a daily basis. How can I use “the Secret” and related principles to bring about a healing? I try to visualize wellness, meditate on beautiful things and things for which I’ve so very grateful, but the pain is so chronic that it’s difficult to enact the principles. Yes, I’m seeing a remarkable specialist and am seeking all medical remedies, but I want to seek more spiritual and other remedies. Any ideas for how to visualize this out of my life? I found some of the principles in The Secret very interesting, but not specific enough for me with regard to healing. Thanks in advance.

The Secret tells us to be ultra positive in our lives. You need to see your ailment as a good thing. You should feel that it is making you stronger mentally and your body will eventually feel strong as well. GOD BLESS YOU.

Also remember that we attract things into our lives. You must learn to attract good health.

The law of attraction is when the Universe provides what you have been desiring into reality. If you desire a new laptop for example, the Universe will provide that laptop and make it appear in your reality unexpectedly.

2. Understand how law of attraction works

The Law of attraction works when you want it or not. It all begins with the mind. If you are thinking about something disastrous and you are very worried about it and believe it will happen, then this is the perfect recipe for the law of attraction to work.

The Universe does not know, whether you want that desire to happen or not. All it knows is that you have been thinking about it with belief and it is taken as an instruction to appear in your life.

3. What is needed for law of attraction to work?

When you practice the law of attraction, you need to meet the following requirements:

- thinking a lot about your desire as if you are experiencing it now

- have faith in your desire. Believe that it will manifest in your life with a doubt

- think of your desire in the present NOW. Not in the past or in the future.

- Visualize your desire. Actually see yourself and feel yourself experiencing your desire when you visualize

- Affirmation. Speak words to yourself which will gradually stick in your subconscious mind. Say positive things to yourself.

4. How do I know that I am applying the Law of Attraction properly?

If you are feeling happy and positive about your desires, and you are constantly motivated in your thinking, then you are applying the law of attraction. Think about it. If you are experiencing or imagining what you desire now, you are obviously happy about it. Vice versa, if you are worried and unhappy, then at that moment you are using the law of attraction in a wrong way. You are attracting the wrong things in life.

5. How fast does law of attraction work?

This is unknown. The law of attraction sometimes manifest our desires very quickly and sometimes they take weeks, months or years. All is known is that the Universe will receive your instructions, and then make situations happen which will let you receive your desire.

For example, if you are desiring a new car, then the Universe will probably arrange for a relative to win a competition and then pass the car to you as they don’t like it. There are many ways which the Universe will work to meet your desires. It takes its own time and uses its own way.

In summary, the Law of Attraction works and it involves you telling the Universe what you want with emotion. Using the above steps you are well on your way to learning the law of attraction. If your desires don’t manifest then you need to sit down and think quietly what the reasons are. The law of attraction works whether you want it or not.

Seems you and I are in the same boat. My ailing teeth are a result of my emotions and not a result of dental hygeine, I don’t know your particular situation. Apparently according to The Secret, you can’t have any negative thoughts associated with the teeth. that just feeds the negativity. Cut out photos of pretty mouths and teeth from the magazines and have them everywhere around your house. Imagine that’s what your smile looks like. Be happy like its already been taken care of. Be grateful for what you have, thank the Universe (God) for already fixing your teeth and your healthy smile and stop focusing on how the universe will provide it. I’m working on it too, hon. I feel your pain and you’re not alone.

Are you talking about the one presented in “the Secret”?
I thought it was pretty interesting so I tried it, but its hard sometimes. Nothing really happened much though. It could be because I’m not trying hard enough. I have to keep reminding myself to think positive. But I think it makes sense that people are happier when they think positively, even if they don’t become the richest person in the world or get anything they want…

There’s the major limitation that the “Law Of Attraction” doesn’t actually apply to reality, rather it is an entirely mystical concept, completely devoid of reason and the opposite position one would take who valued their own minds and lives here on Earth. Wishing is actually harmful, rather one should pursue what one wants with passion and drive, your efforts toward the accomplishment of some goal are actually the only means to happiness in the world. If you just got everything you wished for you’d be a worthless waste of a person.
