Me and my husband listen to this in our cars as we drove to work daily until we finished it! This is the first CD book I have listened to 3 times and passed on to others! It is absolutely inspiring, life changing if you incorporate the teachings into your daily life. Its not about doing some drastic workbook. I think, this is one of the best Anthony Robbins’ audio series. I really like listening to the different mastery techniques that Anthony Robbins teaches.

I know some of the stuff he teaches are already on his other audio series, but it is good sometimes to be reminded of what you already know. It is good to listen the wisdom and knowledge that are shared in the CDs several times because we tend to forget what we learn the first time.

When you drive a lot to go to work or a business trip, this audio series will be a great one for you to listen to. It will inspire and energize you as Anthony Robbins will teachers different level of mastery skills to bring you to a different level of thinking.

Just like what Earl Nightingale said “We become what we think about.” This audio series will be a great investment to give to your mind.

5 Stars Great stuff
Depending on where you are at in your life this may have a lot to offer you. I wasn’t all that familiar with Anthony before my co-worker said “Hey, I got this at a tag sale, see if there’s anything you want to listen to”. I took to it immediately. I felt charged to make major changes. I also thought “Wow, what a great guy. Genuine, really out to make the world a better place.” I asked around to see if my friends had heard of him and all I got were negative comments about him being annoying and conceited. I can’t imagine they have actually listened to him because he is far from those things in my eyes. Have they heard his messages??? Through these discs, Anthony gives solid actions you can take to improve the quality of your life. It is a step by step guide. I found no part of it unreasonable. It makes so much sense. It’s great even when things are going well as motivation to continue on the path that is making things work for you.

5 Stars Repeats Key Ideas in Personal Power in Condensed Format
If you have done the “Personal Power” series, you probably will like this although there is not a lot of totally new thought here. If you have not, you can start here and experience the very best in motivational tools. This guy pretty much says it like it is:

(1) Get your rear out of bed early in the morning

(2) Take time to reflect on who you are and who you wish to be

(3) Exercise and eat right (more on this below)

(4) Decide what you really want, and take action immediately and every day to make that work.

He has some neat techniques to help you stay on track and focus without getting bogged-down with too much planning. In my experience in working with people, I find that most either plan too much (and never execute) or they don’t plan at all and wander around aimlessly. This program helps you to find the right balance.

I’m not a huge fan of the dietary recommendations, as I don’t believe there is good science behind some of the theories (at least none I could find on PubMed, Medscape, or credible medical journals). However, I don’t thing the recommendation of eating less meat and lots more vegetables will cause harm to anyone! [What seems to work for me is a diet that consists of lots of green vegetables and salads, some fuits, Fiber One cereal in the morning with skim milk and berries, and a small-portion lean protien source with lunch and dinner meal - preferably fish or one-quarter grilled chicken breast.]

It worked for us (as did Personal Power) the first time and, again, this time around. WHEN WE REALLY LISTEN TO WHAT IS BEING SAID, we pick up new issues to focus on and improve with each session, some that we missed the last time. Life is too precious to keep on making the same mistakes. Thank you TONY!!!! When it gets down to it, it’s up to us to make it all happen. 5 Stars Excellent!
Gina Lake has a way of teaching that is so clear and concise. This is a very important book to anyone interested in having “real” relationships with another (parent, children, sibling, friend, lover, etc.). Chapter by chapter, Gina illustrates how our conditioning creates anything but a loving, accepting relationship.

Operating from our egos much of the time, our main focus is “me”… what I want, how I want it, and the finger pointing of how you are not giving that to me.

Just a few quotes that I feel are key -

“Judgements and incriminations block love”. Isn’t that the truth! When was the last time you felt love when you were being judged.

“We mistake our conditioning for who we are…” Who would we be without our idea of who we are? Take a chance on finding out.

“…if you believe the lies the egoic mind tells you about what you need to be happy, you will never be happy…”

I have used “The Work” by Byron Katie and “The New Earth” by Eckhard Tolle with clients and both are tremendously important books. That said, Gina Lake’s Choosing Love, brings similar tools and applies them to the stories we have about love and relationships. It truly helped me see a lot of my conditioning and has been a great conversation starter with my loved ones.

5 Stars Yes, CHOOSING Love is something you can do
Many of us feel that LOVE chooses us or we just magically fall in love. Then we go on to love happily after without having to do any work AND we are both always happy and giddy with love. YIKES! I ahve been watching too many old romantic movies…because that is just not how it is. Once again, Gina and Theo share with us “Nail-on-the-head” advice for how to create and maintain true, deep loving relationships with our spouses, partners, friends and yes, ourselves. GREAT book for anyone in any type of relationship…yep, that would be everyone!

When you have read enough of the theory, sit down, relax and open this book. You won’t be disappointed! Gina offers practical, down to earth insights on relationships, that can propel you to experiencing inner-Essence, through LOVE. A beautiful book that does away with mental gymnastics, becomes your friend and offers you the insightful guidance that you so much deserve and have looked so hard for. I read this book over a two month time span – savoring every word. A definite must read!
